Description
The 1997/98 home shirt is the first with Nike as technical sponsor and the last one worn by captain Beppe Bergomi as he retired at the end of the season. This was a star-studded team with the likes of Ronaldo, Baggio, Djorkaeff, Simeone and Zamorano. The Chilean striker made the jersey even more unique by adding a + sign between the numbers 1 and 8 so that he could continue to wear the number 9 after chivalrously allowing Ronaldo to take the actual No.9. Meanwhile Roberto Baggio wore No.10, completing a legendary trio of forwards. The black-and-blue stripes are the traditional size with a fully black collar, Pirelli on the chest and the Inter logo on the left.
